Rwanda were denied a win when they played to a 3-1 lost in their second Group A 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge match this Tuesday at Machakos Kenyatta Stadium in Kenya.

IT is A shame to our national team and coach, mister Antoine Hey, who’s writing a darkest page for our national Team, Amavubi. Today they were humiliated by Zanzibar, considered as an under estimated team in this tournament.

Goals from Mudathir Yahya, Mohamed Issa and Kassim Khamis handed the Zanzibar Heroes a convincing win in Group A. Hakizimana Muhadjili scored a lone goal for Amavubi as they lost their second match in Group A.

Their first 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup encounter saw Kenya thrashed Rwanda on Sunday at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega city 2-0 win.

Rwanda XI against Zanzibar:

Kimenyi Yves,

Ombolenga Fitina, Rugwiro Herve, Mbogo Ally, Imanishimwe Emmanuel,

Niyonzima Olivier Sefu (Manishimwe Djabel), Nshimiyimana Amran, Niyonzima Ally,Sekamana Maxime (Mico Justin),

Nshuti Innocent (Biramahire Abeddy), Hakizimana Muhadjili.

Zanzibar (3) 1 (Mudathir Yahya 35′, Mohamed Issa 54′, Kassim Khamis 86′ )
Rwanda  (1) 0 (Hakizimana 47′)

Widely criticized for his tactics and the selection brought to Kenya, he will go down as one of the worst national team coaches of all time, if not the worst.

Leaving behind some big names like strikers Tuyisenge Jacques (Gor Mahia – Kenya) and Usengimana Danny ( Singida United – Tanzania), defender Rusheshangoga Michel (Singida United – Tanzania), midfielders Niyonzima Haruna (Simba SC – Tanzania) and Mugiraneza Jean Baptiste Migi (Gor Mahia – Kenya), with them anyway, Antoine Hey could hope the CECAFA 2017 title, but he preferred to prepare CHAN 2018 in CECAFA.

Does Rwanda really hope to win CHAN 2018 title? Or we are wasting the only chance to get on the podium in this year by losing CECAFA? Those are questions addressed to Antoine Hey.
