To compensate for the withdrawal of Egypt, CAF announced Saturday that Ethiopia and Rwanda will compete for the last place for CHAN 2018 in a play-off game.
The CAF has decided. Following the withdrawal of Egypt for CHAN 2018, the executive committee of the forum announced that Ethiopia and Rwanda will compete for the vacant place. All in a “concern for fairness” to “bring the number of teams representing the East Zone for the final tournament to three”.
