This time it’s decided, Kolo Touré hangs the crampons. After leaving the door open to a final freelance following his training as assistant coach of the A ‘selection and Olympique de Côte d’Ivoire, the 36-year-old central defender has officially retired.
Last club of the Ivorian, Celtic Glasgow announced this Friday that it integrates the staff under technical assistant of the coach Brendan Rodgers.
“This is a new chapter in my career, a new beginning. I can officially say that I no longer play and that I focus on coaching,” said ASEC Mimosas, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool.
“Now I want to give advices, to help the young players and to pass on my experience acquired during my career.”
