The Rwanda cycling federation has announced the 15 names who will bear the national flag at the 9th Tour of Rwanda which is slated from 12 to 19 November 2017.

In the course of preparing the next Tour of Rwanda 2017, Sterling Magnell summoned 24 riders during an intensive training in Musanze at Africa Rising Cycling Center, from the 2nd October 2017, in order to select the best among the others.

They did training, and both tournaments from 21 to 22 October, have left only 15 names that will represent Team Rwanda, Rubavu’s Benediction and Rwamagana’s Les Amis Sportsifs.

Rwanda will be represented by a trio of teams including the National selection and two clubs.

Dimension Data For Qhubeka (South-Africa) and Tirol Cycling Team (Austria) have joined Team Illuminate (USA),Bike Aid (Germany),Dukla Banska Bystrica (Slovakia) and Interpro Cycling Academy (Japan).

17 teams of five riders will be on the start line for the Prologue in Kigali on Sunday November 12 for seven days of exciting racing at most prestigious cycling competition in Africa.
