Accordingly to our sources from Tanzania, said that Masudi Djuma has joined the coaching team of Tanzanian giant, Simba SC for replacing Ugandan assistant coach, Jackson Mayanja who has left this club from family reasons as they said.
Since Tuesday night, the coach and club management have been dismissed, but he has already indicated that the said motive threatened him to abandon Simba Sports club.
Despite what the Tanzanian media says, Kigali Times has spoken with Masudi this evening and he affirmed that he stills in Kigali, and there is no ongoing discussions with Simba.
Mayanja left the team while he is first in Ligi Kuu Bara with 12 points, similar to their opponents Yanga Africans.
Recently, the club’s Information and Communications Officer, Haji Manara, has refuted prevailing reports that the club was planning to fire their Cameroonian tactician Joseph Omog, insisting that the Cameroonian tactician and his Ugandan assistant, Jackson Mayanja are there to stay.
Simba have been refuting reports that the club intended to part ways with the Cameroonian tactician after what some of the leaders and supporters blamed him for unsatisfactory performance despite being at the helm.
Simba will miss the services of their two key players; John Bocco and Salim Mbonde who are still nursing injuries when they host Njombe Mji at the Uhuru Stadium this weekend.
