AS Kigali edged Miroplast FC 2-0 to secure their first win after a draw on their first match day against Rayon Sports, helped by Ndarusanze Jean Claude and Ngama Emmanuel.

Eric Nshyimiyimana had radically changed his team, with Ndanda in the poles replacing Bate Shamiru, while Ally Niyonzima and Evode Ntwali has started on the bench.

“I wanted to change my team, because I did not know my opponent apart that Mironko team is in the first division, and that there was Pekeyake and Clement who spent in our team, I wanted to attack and win early, that’s what i did and we won”– Eric Nshimiyimana, AS Kigali’s coach.

Elsewhere at Umuganda stadium, Rubavu, following a foul made by the Marines FC goalkeeper, Shyaka Regis, APR FC managed to equalize 1-1 thanks to Djihad Bizimana while Bahame Arafat scored for Marines FC.
